This honor reflects the extraordinary work our teams have done over the past year to embed climate-friendly practices into every level of our operations. Data-Driven, Climate-Conscious Innovation

At the core of this recognition is a significant innovation in ingredient tracking and menu labeling. We’ve equipped our chefs with tools to filter recipes by carbon impact, add climate-friendly labels for guests, and highlight low-emission meals.

As a result, more than 50% of our evaluated recipes are now classified as low-emission, giving our teams the ability to make sustainability a visible, actionable part of every dining experience.

Leading the Plant-Forward Movement in Healthcare

Morrison has long been a leader in bringing plant-forward dining to the healthcare space. Today, over 60% of our recipes are plant-forward, with one-third of those fully vegan. Every Morrison hospital café now offers at least one plant-based entrée daily, and we’ve seen a significant increase in plant-based meals served systemwide.

This approach supports our broader climate goals, including our pledge to reduce food-related carbon emissions by 25% by 2030 and achieve carbon net zero by 2050.
