New Breakaway Bay lounge offers a 'round the clock break to staff at Sentara Princess Anne Hospital with 24-hour access to meals
Posted: 02/11/2025Hospital staff at Sentara Princess Anne Hospital in Virginia Beach have a new place to relax during night shifts. Nautically named Breakaway Bay, the 24-hour space created in collaboration between Compass One Healthcare and foodservice provider Morrison Healthcare allows nurses and clinical support staff to unwind and grab a bite to eat during breaks when the cafeteria is closed. The idea for the lounge came from staff, who requested a place where they could recharge during the evening and early morning hours. [more]
