Mayo Clinic's Chef Thai Pao named Finalist in Healthcare Without Harm Culinary Contest

Our five finalists showcased global influences in their dishes, ranging from a barbecue-inspired jackfruit barbacoa to a mushroom soup based in Afro-Indigenous heritage. Chef Thai Pao from Mayo Clinic and his Amok Tofu recipe made the list!

GRMC Donates More than 2,800 Peanut Butter Jars for Jars of Love
Posted: 04/14/2026To help address hunger in our community, and in celebration of National Peanut Butter and Jelly Day on April 2, Gadsden Regional Medical Center has donated more than 2,800 jars of peanut butter to the Etowah Community Food Bank. All of that peanut butter was donated by Gadsden Regional’s employees, medical staff members, board members, and community partners during the recent Jars of Love Peanut Butter Drive.
