The Opportunity
The team identified a viable opportunity to enhance accountability and compliance around patient traylines. Onsite teams completed virtual walkthroughs of safety & retail assessments to test if a “Facetime” style interaction would gain valuable information with accounts and provide data that could be used for process improvements. The result? Improved performance for the culinary team and patient solutions teams. These improvements engage onsite teams to collaborate to define best practices and improve the experience.
How does Trayvision work?
A tablet is placed on the patient trayline by a patient dining associate. This tablet uses the camera function paired with a HIPPA Compliant Telehealth system called Doxyme, which allows program managers access to all of the cameras through this platform. Program managers can now see live pictures of food being served to patients. Onsite leadership works to review the photos and provide feedback and how patient dining teams can improve presentation and quality.
