Pasta provides versatile base for global flavor experimentation

Jeffrey Quasha, director of culinary innovation and corporate research and development chef at Morrison Healthcare, said pasta dishes can provide a great platform for introducing consumers to new ingredients. Atrium Health, Morrison Healthcare and Feeding Charlotte Team Up to Reduce Food Waste and Curb Food Insecurity

Atrium Health and Morrison Healthcare are partnering with Feeding Charlotte to reduce food waste and improve access to nutritious food for those in Mecklenburg County who experience food insecurity. Through this effort, an estimated 1,000 pounds of surplus fresh food that might otherwise go to waste will be distributed each week, including vegetables, proteins, and other perishable items.  [more]
