Morrison Healthcare Teams up with Atrium Health to Feed Kids in Need

This summer, Atrium Health University Hospital with the help of Morrison Healthcare is expanding its “Kids Eat Free” Program to address food insecurity throughout the Charlotte Region. Meals are still needed for children who may not have food available during June July and August as twenty percent of children in North Carolina struggle with hunger. [more]

Morrison Healthcare Dietitian Starts Donation Program to Help Feed Those in Need

While working from home, Samaria Grandberry and her sister came up with an idea to produce fresh fruits and vegetables for people in need. She started a donation program called Samaria’s Buy One Donate One Produce Program. It uses locally grown food from her family’s farm to give to people affected by the pandemic. [more]

Free Lunch Program for Allentown Children Continues Through the Pandemic

With that in mind, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Summer Food Program was created.
