Quick Breakfast Idea: Pumpkin Pie Oatmeal with Pecans

Pumpkin Pie Oatmeal with Pecans
This recipe yields six servings and is a great idea for a quick breakfast because it takes so little prep and cook time.

Ingredients
- 2 cups Old Fashioned Oatmeal Cereal, Dry
- 4-½ cups Water
- 1 tbsp Ground Cinnamon
- 1-½ tsp Ground Ginger
- 1 tsp Ground Nutmeg
- ¼ cup Dark Molasses
- 1 cup Pumpkin Puree, Canned
- 6 tbsp Pecan Halves, Chopped
Preparation
- Place all ingredients (except for pumpkin puree and pecans) into a pot and bring to a boil.
- Simmer for 5 minutes and fold in pumpkin puree.
- Stir to heat through.
- Serve with toasted pecans on the side.
